A simple-to-use dial on the back adjusts the width of the seat to fit a child’s shoulders up to 20 inches wide. The head rest has 11 positions for ultimate flexibility. Adjusts up to 6.5 inches in height with one hand for an easy, precise fit. As your child grows, the safety grows with them.
Comfort and Convenience Built In
Installation couldn't be easier with the Monterey XT. Integrated LATCH connectors and front adjusters provide a safe and secure installation and keep the seat in position when not occupied (LATCH use is optional). Retractable, dual cup holders and snack trays are extra-deep and fold away when not in use.
With wipeable fabrics and a removable, washable cover, the Monterey XT High Back Booster is easy to look after and keep clean.
Monterey XT can also be used as a backless booster and packs flat for travel and storage.
This seat is too wide at the base. I have it installed in two vehicles (2015 4Runner, 2015 Prius) and it's too close against the seatbelt connector in the seat making it very hard for my son to buckle himself in. I wish somebody would have noted this on a previous review. Do yourself a favor and look at the dimensions of the base of the booster you might be shopping for and get one narrower than this one. We have the older model of this booster, and it works and fits perfectly. We were hoping this one would be just as easy to use, but our son has a really hard time strapping himself in because the base is so wide.
