Installation couldn't be easier with the Monterey XT. This seat is too wide at the base. I have it installed in two vehicles (2015 4Runner, 2015 Prius) and it's too close against the seatbelt connector in the seat making it very hard for my son to buckle himself in. I wish somebody would have noted this on a previous review. Do yourself a favor and look at the dimensions of the base of the booster you might be shopping for and get one narrower than this one. We have the older model of this booster, and it works and fits perfectly. We were hoping this one would be just as easy to use, but our son has a really hard time strapping himself in because the base is so wide.
